• "My partner thinks I'm a prude because I said no to a threesome. Who is right?"

    Question:

My 40 year-old partner thinks I am a prude because he wants to do two girls at the same time and I told him no, I don't find it all appealing. Who is right?

    Answer:

It's not a case of someone being right or not. Sexual taste and preferences are individual and one person's idea of heaven is another's person's hell.

What he is being, however, is unfair and judgemental. Quite frankly, I think you're being prudent rather than prudish!

While the fantasy of a threesome is massively appealing to lots of people, you're usually far better off leaving it as a fantasy, rather than taking it through to real life.

Plenty of men, for instance, get quite freaked out watching their girlfriends with another women because she often gets a lot more pleasure from it than he does!

Lesbians nearly always rate as the highest satisfied of all the sexual groups - mainly because they're damn good at oral sex, which is how most women have their orgasms. His ego might not be able to take it!

Quite apart from that, inviting another warm body into the bed nearly always causes problems with jealousy and resentment.

Tell him you're not prudish, just intelligent enough to realise how damaging threesomes can be to a relationship.
